Cardiovascular Fitness

Indoor cycling is a fun cardiovascular workout performed on special stationary bikes. An instructor at the front of class leads participants through drills (climbing, sprinting, jumping, riding) designed to increase both aerobic and anaerobic fitness while building camaraderie with fellow riders. Come enjoy the ride! Whether you are training for a triathlon or riding for cardiovascular health, this class will get you to your destination.

Cycling is geared for anyone that can ride a bike. You are in control of your bike’s resistance, so whether you’re new to indoor cycling or a seasoned veteran, you can work toward your maximum fitness level.

Our bikes are top-of-the-line Keiser M3+ indoor cycles that have a computer displaying your RPMs, watts, gear and workout time. Our bike computer connects to your heart rate monitor and displays your current and average heart rate.

Our bikes are set up for cycling shoes with SPD cleats (available for purchase if you need to switch out cleats), as well as cages if you’re wearing athletic shoes. If you are new to indoor cycling, please come to your first class five to ten minutes early so your instructor can help you fit your bike.

Cycle 30 + Core 30

Cardiovascular Fitness, Core Strength and Endurance

A great cardio and core strength combo. An express 30-minute cycle class consisting of variable intensity interval drills gets the cardio job done. Follow that up with 30 minutes of core work where we focus on strengthening the abdominals, obliques, and glutes, as well as the smaller stabilizing muscles that make up the core.

Cycle 30 + TRX 30

Cardiovascular Fitness, Strength and Endurance (TRX-style)

A strength-cardio combination like no other. An express 30-minute cycle class consisting of variably intensity interval drills revs your cardiovascular fitness. Follow that up with 30 solid minutes on the TRX.

TRX Suspension Training classes leverage gravity plus your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises to strengthen and stretch your entire body. You control how much you challenge yourself by adjusting your body position to increase or decrease resistance. TRX workouts engage your core to build a solid foundation for a more balanced body with less chance of injury. It also increases muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility, using the TRX to get deeper into each stretch safely. Accessible to all fitness levels, from beginners to experts.

Cycle 30 + TRX Core 30

Cardiovascular Fitness, Core Strength and Endurance (TRX-style)

Another express 30-minute cycle class consisting of variably intensity interval drills to rev your cardiovascular fitness followed by a workout on the TRX system to build core strength. TRX develops stabilizing muscles that are often overlooked in traditional strength training classes. Increase muscular strength and endurance as well as core stability and flexibility!

A combination of variable intensity cardio intervals on the bikes, and strength work off the bikes using bands, dumbbells, and body weight. Get a full body workout in this fun, fast-paced class!

Cycle-Flow

Cardiovascular Fitness, Strength, Flexibility and Balance

This class combines cardio, core strength and balance. Start with 30-minutes of cycle doing variable intensity interval drills to get your heart rate going. Finish with 40 minutes of body work to release key muscle groups to improve postural alignment and to correct intentional imbalances. We'll work on myofascial release, stretching and strengthening to increase range of motion. Learn to train and move your body for maximal efficiency and power.

Outdoor Boot Camp at Maple Leaf Park

Cardiovascular Fitness, Strength and Endurance

Boot Camp is interval training at its best. Come join us at Maple Leaf Reservoir Park for this fast-paced class. We’re constantly mixing it up to keep our bodies in top shape. We incorporate plyometrics, agility, toning, High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.), core strengthening, and flexibility into our workouts. You will become leaner, stronger, fitter, and more flexible. We offer modifications for each exercise to create workouts that are accessible to all fitness levels. Whether you’re working toward a healthier lifestyle or want to improve your next marathon or triathlon, boot camp is for you! This class will begin on May 2nd.

Overall Strength, Core Strength, Integrated Functional Strength

A strong core leads to better balance and stability. With this class, you will develop a foundation that will bring wellness into your other daily activities. We will be mixing a variety of elements, to train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips, and abdomen to work in harmony. You will feel more confident and grounded, ready to conquer the day!

TRX 45

Strength, Endurance and Flexibility

TRX Stretch and Sculpt

Strength, Endurance and Flexibility

This TRX class is a low impact, moderate intensity workout that focuses on developing core strength, building stabilizing muscles, and increasing flexibility by using lower resistance and higher repetitions.

Instructors emphasize proper form and alignment, which allows students to challenge themselves while protecting joints. In this class, we use a variety of equipment such as stability balls, gliders, and resistance bands in addition to the TRX.

Yin Yoga

Flexibility

This class is designed to help improve flexibility. You will get beyond the muscle tissue and target the ligaments, joints, tendons and fascia. Most poses are done while seated or lying down and are held for 3-5 minutes.

This class is perfect for beginners, athletes and anyone who wants to bring balance to their active lives and find stillness within.

Yoga + Strength

Strength, Flexibility and Balance

An invigorating and refreshing flow class to strengthen the body through intelligent sequencing and a blend of bodyweight movements to improve balance and increase body awareness. Listen and connect with your body, as we combine breath, mindfulness and alignment-oriented postures. All levels welcome, from beginners to advanced.

Yoga Renew

Flexibility and Strength

Yoga Renew is a wonderful way to bring yourself towards a state of balance and ease in body and mind. For those whose muscles are tight after a week full of higher intensity workouts, Yoga Renew classes offer the opportunity to slow down, to stretch and lengthen muscles throughout the entire body, and strike an optimal balance between strength and flexibility, between movement and stillness. Through mindfulness and gentle, intentional breath practices, students gain experience landing their awareness in their body. Especially appropriate for those newer to yoga practice, these small group classes have a slow and steady pace that allow us to explore modifications, fine-tune alignment, and experience creative asana sequences in a mindful, breath-awareness-infused way that leaves students refreshed and restored.
